hi i m doing my mbbs in china
i heard that .. a new rule has been introduced that says
that internship has to be done in china compulsory…
please confirm me the news..
and after passing MCI screening test..do we have to do the internship again in india???
For students pursuing medicine in Russia if they had done their Internship there or not Russian Medical Students always need to repeat their Internship in India again. The Russian medical graduate get the M.D degree .
For students from Chinese medical universities If they had done their Internship in China then after passing Mci screening test in India they can start their practice and no need for them to repeat their Internship. For the students from Chinese Medical Universities if they had not done their Internship in China then they can appear for the Mci Screening Test with their provisional certificate and after clearing the exam they need to do 1 year Internship in India. After that with the permanent registration they can add the Prefix Dr. to their name and the suffix can always only be Mbbs for the Chinese medical graduates.
Only the Russian Medical graduates can add M.D to their name and Chinese Medical graduates can only add Mbbs.
You can apply for the Mci screening test once you have the Complete degree or if you have the Provisional certificate. For the Russian students they have to repeat the Internship and for the Chinese students no need to repeat if internship was done earlier in china.
