Listen people the male glans is protected, moistened and lubricated by the foreskin. Just like your tongue in your cheeks. The United States of America to permit male genital mutilation to continue is shocking and unbelievable.Listen i’m an Irishman but if anyone tried to do that to my son i might be very angry to put it mildly. Torturing baby boys and sexually abusing them plus maiming them for life is something i don’t wan’t on my conscience.For fucks sake this is a religious barbaric criminal act performed on male baby children.This is a crime against humanity.That comment by Dr Rogers is so telling…a baby’s first experience with his genitals is of excruciating pain then put him to his mothers breast. NOT a good message!Teaching your son to wash his foreskin is easier and less harmful than cutting it off. Whether or not to have your foreskin amputated should be the choice of the individual penis owner, not his parents.Traumatic?!?!?! Ya think? It is so far beyond any pain that boy is likely to ever experience in his whole life that to call it “trauma” is but a slight shadow of an understatement. And then, for the rest of his life to be sexually handicapped is a crime. How can you amputate healthy tissue from a child without any other reason than “the parents wanted it”, maybe you should be more interested in what your patient(the boy) wants. I thought that was just simple medical ethics.I’ve been married twice and both of my husbands were NOT circumcized thank god and they’ve never suffered any infections and they were also very clean, so to me that’s such a stupid excuse when people say that they circumsized their child because of that, why perfom a torture on your baby when it isn’t necessary, torturing a baby is sooo not humanI saw a documentary once, I forgot what the title was, but it was concerning a large group of adult men that were circumcised when they were born and they were talking about how angry they were with their parents because they ruined their sex life, they complained about how they suffered from impotence and other erectile disfunction due to the circumcision that was performed on them, something that the doctors were able to prove them in their case that that was the causeIt’s common freakin sense to know that circumcision is not necessary and DANGEROUS, to practice circumsicion is an insult to nature, if nature would have wanted men with a circumsized penis men would have been born that way, that piece of skin on the penis is there for a reason, not to be tampering with it, for what? for hygene and infection prevention? well what a stupid reason, that’s why TEACHING was invented, to teach your male children how to be hygenically clean,problem is, people are lazy
